Here, between the historical cities of Florence and Arezzo, in the real heart of Tuscany, Bonci creations are born - new flavors embodying the memory of ancient secrets of art and culture. Hidden in Bonci recipes lies the history of this land of Montevarchi and the Valdarno, symbolically depicted on the package of each creation by the coat-of-arms of Andrea Della Robbia.

 

This XV-century stemma is the guardian emblem of the town's baptismal font and Sacred Milk relic, both currently housed in the ancient St. Lawrence Collegiate Church of Montevarchi.

Today our trademark, this centuries-old symbol recalls a love for those things genuine and true, and a respect for our origins. It is an homage to the art and history of this region, as well as to the taste and excellence of artisan processing of the very best ingredients, which can be discovered each day in the flavors and fragrances of Bonci pastries and confections.

Every family-run business has its own history of special figures, anecdotes and experiences representing a veritable treasure to be carefully guarded and passed on from generation to generation.


The history of Bonci Pastries began in Montevarchi, in 1953, with Giuseppe “Beppe”, its founder, and his brother, Gino, who built a solid foundation of experience and knowledge that today still firmly supports the family business. 

For three generations, the hard work of “Nonno Beppe” has provided the continuity and strength that has enabled us to constantly look towards the future.
     


 

Three brothers, with fifty years of experience and professional esteem,are at the heart and soul of the Pasticceria Bonci of Montevarchi which proudly boasts a long artisan tradition.

A love for discovering new tastes and aromas, a passion for researching new combinations of ancient flavors, and a ritual of slow and wise processing enhanced by new techniques are the values to which the Bonci team aspires for each of its creations.

The close-knit team of master pastry chefs and chocolatiers is animatedby a single desire: to offer in each pastry and confection the fresh fragrance of quality and intensity of flavors prepared with passion.
